Justice for Children entered into partnership with UN Women in a Project titled "Ensuring the rights of adolescent and women survivors of Gender Based Violence." The Project covers Beitbridge, Bindura and Makoni. JCT is working together with Women and Law in Southern Africa Research and Education Trust (WLSA) and Zimbabwe Women Lawyers Association (ZWLA) in implementing the Project .The objectives of the Project are to:

  • Improve participation and awareness on Gender Based Violence laws and support services that protect and facilitate access to services for the benefit of adolescent girls and women.
  • Promote strong cross sector collaboration in prevention and responding to survivors of Gender based violence in Zimbabwe.
  • Promote access to justice by adolescent girls and women survivors of Gender based violence through community established structures, including adequate legal representation.
