Mutare held two (2) awareness campaigns because of lack of funding. Bulawayo recorded the highest number of people, particularly children, because of the good working relationship between the organization and Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education officials there. In Harare, the officials were insisting on the organization signing a new memorandum of understanding with the Ministry’s National Office which however has been taking too long. Figure 8 above shows that more women than men attended the awareness campaigns. There is therefore need to create platforms to engage men as they are perceived to be the perpetrators of the highest number of cases of abuse.
